Medium, round crust, normal bake, garlic butter crust. Cheese pepperoni mushroom and green pepper. Jets will always be number one pizza but loved this

Green Lantern has great pizza and sandwiches. I love their Reuben. Their square pizzas are delicious, too. The price and quality of their reubens can't be beat.

Pizza is delicious. Antipasto is yummy. The ranch dressing is amazing. Love the idea of single slices. As a senior citizen this quality of single slices is affordable and satisfying. I wish you could get slices anytime instead of just lunchtime. Service is always great. Ombiance is friendly, welcoming, clean and service with a smile. Love Green Lantern pizza!!!

I can confirm they offer the $5.99 lunch deal of 2 slices and a bottle of pop. Antipasto salad is delicious, and you can order online with everything separate. Great if you will have leftovers or have a picky eater. Online ordering also offers extra and triple cheese for the Lantern Bread (for additional cost, of course).

My husband and I are so excited that Green Lantern is so close to home and have been looking forward to ordering. Online ordering is simple and bonus points for the pizza tracker and text updates. They also have a loyalty points program. I was quoted and hour, but our pizza arrived at the door only 23 minutes after ordering. Now I base every pizza place vote on a plain cheese pizza, and this one did not disappoint! My pizza arrived so hot that I had to do the backwards blowing out of my mouth so as not to burn my tongue. There was an epic cheese pull, and the first bite had my stomach growling for more. The crust was crunchy and chewy all at the same time, and the sauce was smooth with a hint of oregano and no noticeable sweetness. My husband likes thin crust and lots toppings so I got him a thin Hawaiian pizza. It was loaded with ingredients and the thin crust held up pretty well! All in all great pizza, and fast delivery! Price is comparable to Jets (a little on the high end) but you are getting quality ingredients. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I love the irony leading up to Green Lantern opening in this particular space. Once upon a time, this spot was a Secretary of State...ah, the Michigan SOS of yesteryear. A superior model of slow-moving and inefficient bureaucratic processes. Next, it opened as a Jazzercise and inspired masses of health minded people to dance to the music... it was the very antithesis of the SOS, and anything but slow moving. Jazzercise has since closed in that location and, in its place, opened a mecca of Michigan pizza. Which is kinda the antithesis of Jazzercise, right?! Green Lantern is easily in my top 5 pizza spots in Michigan (maybe anywhere), but Madison Heights is a little out of the way for a quick fix. Imagine my delight when I read on Yelp that one had opened next to one of my top 5 favorite shawarma spots (ahem, Green Cedar, and now Green Lantern in the same strip mall). Do you know what one of the best pizza toppings is?...those spicy tiny pepperonis. You know the ones. They curl and crisp and create golden pools of yum. The Lantern is famous for many reasons, but their mini pepperonis are one of those reasons and why I love their pizza so much. Their round crust has a touch of sweetness and little more crunch on the edges from caramelization than their competitors, but it's still soft in the middle, albeit thoroughly cooked...(doughy pizza crust is offensive). Their Lantern Bread, same deal...perfection. Their ranch is solid! And their pizza sauce hits all the right notes. They also use quality cheese compiling wonderful ingredients into a craveworthy work of art. Bonus points for their friendly staff. Welcome to the neighborhood GLP. I'm down with what you're slinging.

I have been waiting to try this while it seemed to take forever to open. One evening after work I ordered a take out order and was told it would be 45 minutes. When I got there, the line was out the door and the parking lot was full. I guess I wasn't the only one waiting. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. It was still hot when I got home and enjoyed some. I got 4 meals out of it and it warmed up great. I ordered a delivery a few days before New Year and once they got my address correct so they understood I was in their delivery zone (south of 10 mile road and west of Middlebelt) it was easy. I used a coupon for 2 large pizzas with 2 toppings and extra sauce on both. I was having our annual Holiday friends gathering. Normally I have had pizza leftover when I ordered from Cottage but not this time. My friends had eaten it before in the original locations but told me how hard it was to even get a seat. That is for a good reason. A little more pricey but well worth it. I have been eating Hawaiian pizza for close to 40 years, since Mama Bears in Bloomington Indiana when I was in grad school at Indiana University. This is in my top 3. I will be ordering from them again.
